A Few weeks ago,
Me, Bryan and Sage went to go see this play called Biloxi Blues. It was my
first time ever seeing a play. I’m more of a musical, opera person, plays have
never gotten my interest, but that’s
besides the point. But
when I walked in, and saw all the people waiting line and I started to change
my mine about the play I was about to watch. The doors open at 8pm all the
guest walked in ,and sat at there seats.
I remember the seats; they were purple my favorite color. The first thing I
notices when I walked in was the stage. I was shocked the theater was so small.
I began to wonder how the actors were going to perform with such a confined
space. This theater was different then most theater, because the way it was
arrange made me, and the audience feel like we were apart the of sense. I will
have to say that seeing this play was very refreshing for me. I was quit impress
with the acting and the actor. When the play started I really like the way how
the music that they were playing was helping our mines get into a mood for us to understand the story a little better. Biloxi Blues is a story about a group
of young men going to boot camp to train
for world war II. These guys are introduce by a very excited young guy by name
of Eugene morris Jerome. He keep’s a diary with him the whole time writing down
his thoughts and his view and each guy meets on his trip to boot camp. In this
story we follow this guy through tough to time’s . Each solder has a different
story and where they came form, beside the point joining the army. You have
this one guy that Is a self center jackass that want to be the boss of every, you have another
that is not the brightness in group and his sort of a kiss ass and a push over,
but seems to be like by the other in the group. Now this charter about tell u
about should not even be in the army at all. This guy was 6”3 and was skinny at
pole, he had big ear’s and he wore the big nerd class, and on top of that he
was a Jew! There was a guy that crazy and had some dark things about him that
one really could see at the moment. And last you had Eugene, a guy who was kind
of Holden by his insert curies but was very smart and overall nice guy, kind of
too nice. I can say that this story was very relatable to, because as me
growing up to become man also dealt with some of these problems. Like the Jew,
and Eugene I also had to battle my insert curies. The morel of this is to find
who you in life and be comfortable with
it. We all have problems, but he’s all have you handle the your problems in.
you see at the end the each solder had change for the first time we see them in
the story. Life some time we need a a moment or a mine war to make us lessen
the things that hold us back in life.
